Abstract
This lecture features the latest research in cross media, cross scales, cross compliances, and cross cyber/physical spaces that took place in the Center for X-Mechanics in Zhejiang University.

Professor Wei Yang is a leading expert in solid mechanics. He is an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS), and the National Academy of Engineering (USA). He has served in prestigious positions such as the President of Zhejiang University, the President of National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the President of the Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (CSTAM). He is currently the President of Association of Chinese Graduate Education.
