The highlights of the HKUST(GZ) Welcome Party "Essence"
On the afternoon of September 1st, the opening ceremony for the 2024 academic year concluded successfully, kicking off the annual HKUST(GZ) Welcome Party with joy.

At the beginning of the performance, HKUST(GZ)'s brand-new band ignited the audience with a medley of three songs, setting the stage on fire.
Traditional Chinese music artist Mr. Jinlong FANG interpreted modern electronic music with traditional instruments, unveiling the hidden treasures of Chinese culture and strengthening the original intention of inheriting unparalleled traditional Chinese music and safeguarding traditional culture.
On stage, the band, dance troupe, Chinese orchestra, and magicians took turns to showcase their diverse personalities in the boiling feast.
Inside the colorful and lively sports hall, games pushed the party to another climax, allowing people to see the vibrant spirit of youth in the endless fun of games.
